That looks like a really good meal Daniel, did you cook rice to go with it as well? You're really developing GEMS Elena and Jazlyn, great to hear you've been reading, getting outside and creating art!

Elena - I love your feather, it's stunning! My guess based on the beautiful blue colours, is that it may come from a Pukeko, although it looks so big in the photo, it must be a very large Pukeko! Well done with your reading too.
Jazlyn, your self portrait sketch is great. A very accurate likeness. Were you looking in a mirror as you sketched?

Looks like lot's of fabulous portraits and like Mrs Dowden I'm wondering if you are all spending much time in front of the mirror!! Gorgeous feather Elena...I've noticed far more of our birds flying about and even saw a King Fisher on the walkway last weekend...remembered we tried to take a photo outside your classroom of the very same and not so often seen little bird...tried my camera skills and when I learn to share my photos online I definitely will! share. Enjoy designing those Dream Bedrooms and money is not a problem...how I wish that was the case for me too!! Have a great day everyone...Fiona Waite L/A

Jazlyn your portrait is beautiful. Well done. And well done Mrs Dowden I was wondering which bird had all those gorgeous blues. I'm so glad you're getting out and about on your bike Elena. Have you seen this week's enviro challenge? It's all about bikes. Daniel you made one of my favourite dinners. Yum. Keep shining bright Room 1, Mrs Daniel
